Who Am I

I am Devika Mahajan – A mental health advocate, speaker, and founder of We Value, an initiative dedicated to creating value and spreading happiness in society. My life’s work is We Value, an initiative born from the belief that when we nurture our inner world, we create ripples of happiness in the outer world. 💛 I am a Bridge – connecting pain to healing, confusion to clarity, and silence to meaningful conversations.

 

💛 I am a Voice – for women, children, and families who wish to be heard without judgment.

💛 I am a Creator – designing workshops, talks, and counseling experiences that empower individuals to discover self-worth, resilience, and peace.

💛 I am a Believer – in the power of value-based living, where kindness, compassion, and emotional awareness shape a better society.

💛 I am a Learner – continuously growing through my interactions with people, drawing wisdom from their journeys, and sharing it forward.

 

Through We Value, I aspire to:

                                     My First counselling session with Devika Mahajan was on 21st Oct 2024. I had a tragic incident at my workplace due to which my confidence dropped and I started getting delusional thoughts due to stress. It was a new problem which I was facing. I went to a psychiatrist and he diagnosed me with Schizophrenia. I had trust in me that it is not possible but I had no idea where to get help then i met Dr Devika through my sister reference. She gave full attentions on details and helped me to share every comfortable as well as uncomfortable details that could help in my diagnosis very professionally. She made me realise that I am fine as my symptoms don’t match with Schizophrenic person. It was a great relief and a first ray of light that convinced me that I can be myself again. Her suggestions like grounding technique, suggestion to engage in sports, deep breathing, reading journals and having a constant routine helped me to recover. I must say she was my first point of recovery. Recovery from mental issues like stress needs a allot of time to recover. It’s 2025 and I am still in touch with Devika Mam and she is very kind to help me out from time to time. I want to say these techniques helps but they take time so have faith and keep working on yourself.

What a powerful, insightful, and inspiring experience it was! The event beautifully addressed some of the most crucial yet often overlooked aspects of a woman’s life — mental health, emotional resilience, physical well-being, and most importantly, the need to prioritise oneself without guilt. 

 

Having a psychologist present added depth and credibility to the conversations around mental health and breaking the stigma surrounding therapy and emotional support. It was refreshing to see a safe, inclusive space where women could share, reflect, and feel heard.

 

Every detail — from the sessions and speakers to the warmth of the team — was so thoughtfully put together. The energy in the room was uplifting, and the message was clear:


“You matter. Your well-being matters. And it’s okay to choose yourself.”
